Bhateri was born on May 21, 1944, in Madina village of Rohtak, as confirmed by the birth certificate issued by Rohtak district hospital, he said. “As the proof of her age is well–documented, she becomes the most aged female of the world to give birth to triplets,” he said. Her husband Deva Singh said he married twice after marrying Bhateri as she was unable to produce children. But he had no children from the other two wives either. “It is the eldest wife who has made me proud and given me a heir. Old is gold,” Deva Singh said with a smile.
