The film starts with Bodhidharma (Suriya), a Pallava prince, who is an expert at all big things. Be it medicine or martial arts or genetics, he is the best. One day, he is sent to China by the gurumatha. Initially the people in China treated him as an inferior. Later when he cured an unknown disease and fought against some people who ill treated villagers there, the people of China began to respect him very much. He taught them how to cure many diseases, taught them martial arts, and the skill of hypnotising people. However after few years,when he expressed his desire to leave, the people poisoned and buried him near the temple, believing that their place would be disease free if he's buried there . Later in the modern day China, Dong Lee (Johnny Tri Nguyen) is given the task of starting the biowar against India which is called the operation red. Dong Lee starts this operation by injecting a virus into a street dog. This disease was the one which occurred during the time of Bodhidharma in China. Meanwhile Shuba Srinivasan (Shruti Haasan) researched that Bodhidharma can be brought back if his sample of DNA is matched with another sample of DNA whom she finds it out as Aravind (Suriya) a descendant of Bodhidharma. Shuba tries to give life to Bodhi Dharman to end the menace of Dong Lee. But Dong Lee, who is capable of doing anything, does all impossible bad things, mastered in 'Nokku Varmam'(Hypnotism), a martial art which was actually taught to the Chinese by Bodhi Dharma.

Presents - The Cleveland Show - S01E01

Plot

At The Drunken Clam, Peter, Joe, Quagmire and Cleveland sit at a table. Cleveland tells the guys that he has lost his house to Loretta due to their divorce settlement. He also tells the guys that he now has custody of Cleveland Jr. (it revealed that Cleveland Jr. is now 14 years old and has become incredibly overweight). After having his house damaged by Peter once again, Cleveland decides to leave Quahog and head to California to pursue his dream of being a minor league scout for a professional baseball organization. Before he leaves, Cleveland aks if Lois and Bonnie will kiss each other. They do a simple one at first, but then start to make out. Peter, Joe, Quagmire and Brian all gaze in shock while Cleveland is happy, and he says it is the first time he has ever asked for something he really wanted. Later, after saying goodbye to all his firends, Cleveland and Cleveland, Jr, leave Quahog.

While passing through his old town of Stoolbend, Virginia, he sees his old school and heads inside. There, he bumps into his old flameDonna Tubbs. She invites him to stay at her house for a couple of days, where Donna relays to Cleveland how she needs a father figure around for her kids after splitting with her husband, Robert. While at Donna's house, he is introduced to Rallo and Roberta, Donna's kids, and the neighbors, including the local redneck and the family of bears, which include father Tim, his wife, and son Raymond.

Donna experiences problems with her two kids, and Cleveland agrees to help; this results in him becoming the very person Donna needs around. The inevitable happens, and Cleveland sticks around – after a complication involving the return of her delinquent of an ex-husband, Robert. After a romantic montage, followed by the dismissal of Robert, Cleveland and Donna get married.

Buying a Car Tyre Online or Just checking the price

The last time I wanted to change my car tyre, there I was at a tyre shop near my place. I called upon the sales person and asked for the price.

He did told me how much it will cost me but the problem is, I have no idea if its cheap or not. Since the shop never display the price [ like most car accessory shops in Malaysia ], its hard to believe the sales person's price.

 

There a lot of factors on the tyre price. Such as , the brand, profile , year of make etc. Of course, you can do what I did back then. That is go to few different shops and ask for the price of the same tyre. But, not everybody can do that. In fact, this issue clicked my mind when my lady friend from office went and changed all ger tyres over the weekend and the tyre shop sort of ripped her off. Its hard to blame her because she is not a person that goes around tyre shops and ask for price.

 

Anyway, after a quick search on Google, found this site which sells tyre online in Malaysia. They offer wide range of brands and sizes. You just need to find one that fits your car and order. Once it processed, you just drive down to the selected shop and get it replaced. The cool thing is, you pay for it online and don't have to pay anything when you visit the shop. So, minimal chances of rip-off!!!

 

Unfortunately, I couldn't help my friend with her purchase. But hopefully it helps somebody out there.

 

And oh ya, even if you dont want to purchase your tyre from this site, you can at least get the approximate cost of your choice of tyre. It will surely helps you when you negotiate the price with your neighborhood tyre shop.

Tamil Comedy Sound Clips

People says Laughter is a good medicine. It is very true. There are times when I have lots on my mind or hard times back in office, comedy movies / clips helps me to ease out. But, its not every time we get time to sit and watch a comedy on television.

And that's when I come across this site where I can download sound clips of comedy drama by the famous SV Shekar and crazy mohan. These guys are usually seen in movies but in fact they are much more popular in local stage drama scenes.

Anyway, so, I used to download these clips and play on my mobile or car player every time my mood hits the ceiling. Trust me, it works! :)

Lead By Example

I saw this advert on a local banking service. They were advertising a new service for their users.

The phrase actually caught my attention. It says, " Lead by Example - Some times, setting a standard means being it. "

It is so true. If you are a leader, you should not just preach. You should lead the rest with example. I have seen a leader complaints that his members takes so frequent breaks. But he failed to realize that he himself taking frequent smoke and coffee break. There is no point expecting others to follow a standard which we ourselves unable to attain.

Think about it. :)

Tips to stay on Job!!

Sometimes, the pressure becomes so unbearable in office until you tend to take it very personally and overact. Most people always forget that our JOB is supposed to be a part of our daily life. NOT the other way around. Anyway, how to keep cool while at work? Some tips follows

1) Always learn to say "NO". - Doing a favor is good sometimes. But at the same time, you have to do it only during your free time and not at the expense of your work. There will always be some people in your office who are like to go around and look for potential people to "assist" them in their work. So, learn to say NO once in a while but always do it in a very diplomatic way.

2) Dont Over Promise - I have seen many people does this. Dont promise something that you are pretty sure that you cant do. Dont say OK to your boss to prepare project papers during the weekends when you already promised your wife a weekend outing. If you can't do it right, explain it well before the due or start of a task so that it can be re-arranged or re-assigned. It's better than you giving up at the last moment or worst after the due time.

3) Eat your Food - No matter what, dont ever skip your meals. Many people does it. You by skipping your meal ; are not doing any good for anybody. Firstly, your body and brain will be low on energy thus poor productivity and 2nd, it's your break time. Use it. The reason why we have break time is so that you can give a "break" to your brain , body and eyes to rest before continue it's work.

4) Take a break! - It's good that if you can take a short break once a while. Just a 5 mins short break in between your long emails or meetings. Trust me, it helps to "refresh" your view on problems and matters. Just take a slow walk to pantry or look out at your office window etc.

5) Dont do multitasking - You are not a PC. Dont ever try to do more than 1 tasks at the same time. Prioritize your work and start with the most urgent / critical tasks and move down. Best way is to list down your tasks at the beginning of the day so that you know what is expected from you for that day. With this, you will not promise anything new or take up any new assignments also.

And lastly, learn to enjoy your job. Your work is the biggest part of your daily life. Dont let it be a nightmare. If it is, maybe perhaps it's time for you to move on.
